I lost two pounds in one day... Is that normal? How does a typical weight loss go?

One day is not a long enough time span to reflect on weight loss.3 -
Losing a pound in one day is fine. Losing a pound every day, not so much.2

If your at the start of your journey. Water weigh could be a thing. Standing on your scale differently could be a thing. Wairing different clothes while weighting yourself could be a thing. There are so many reasons you could think you are losing a pound a day. However once you get into properly understanding weight loss you'll see that a pound here and a pound there from day to day doesn't make that much difference, it's more to do with the trend of weight loss. It will settle soon. Keep at it. Just as a disclaimer. I'm not a doctor and if you really have been losing a pound a day for a period of time best just to check with your medical advisors for advice. Sure it's just one of the above sinarios though. Good luck. Keep at it.1
