Samsung Health vs MFP calories burned

So I've noticed that when I input 60 minutes of walking directly into MFP, the calories burned are MUCH lower than the calories burned when 60 minutes of walking is tracked by my smart watch in Samsung Health. (My watch also usually records it as running.... I guess because I walk fast?)

Anyone else experience anything like this? Which do you think is more accurate?

The walking not running issue could be a big contributary factor as running is twice as inefficient a movement as walking (wasted energy getting both feet off the floor when running).

But I'd be VERY worried if MFP database is lower as it's already an inflated estimate. It's a gross calorie estimate which double counts the calories you would have burned in that time period already, your watch probably does the same.

In term of accuracy my assumption would be:
    MFP - inflated.
    Your Samsung - badly inflated.

You haven't given any numbers (weight, distance, time/speed, calories) but try putting them into this calculator and select the net calorie option.
