Hi all , for a few months at lunchtime I've been having a slimfast meal bar as it's convenient to go for a walk with. I'm nearly at goal so will be maintaining soon BUT how will it differ if I change to a protein bar as long as I watch the calories 🤔 hope someone can steer me in the right direction

Look at the nutrition facts on both packages and compare. Weight maintenance has basically all the same rules as weight loss - the major difference is that instead of calories in < calories out, you want calories in = calories out (more or less, there's always going to be little fluctuations). Nutrition and macros and all of that will still have more to do with satiety which influences weight loss/maintenance. If you like having a bar for lunch, then go for it, I guess. Just account for it.2
