polyunsaturated & monounsaturated fat

I have been tracking my food and losing abojt 1.5-2 pounds a week for about a month now. When I go check my nutrient intake, in the polyunsaturated and mono saturated fat goal intake shows a dash. Does that mean I am not supposed to consume any foods with those in it or does it mean I should just focus on the other categories and ignore these 2?

I believe it means we shouldn't be consuming foods with polyunsaturated and Monounsaturated fats, but it's kind of hard to not consume any at all.

Focus on the category, not the sub cats. The average person doesn't need that detailed of a breakdown. For beginners I always say to stick to watching protein, fat and carb categories as a whole. That keeps it simple and reduces the amount of stress of logging foods. If you are super new to this and have never logged foods before, then I would stick to your daily calorie count and not the categories at all. Once you get the hang of sticking to a calorie goal and logging foods it becomes easier to watch the individual categories and eventually the macro/micros of each category. Good Luck
