I am in a wedding in 3 weeks and have been doing strength training exercises targeting my triceps for quite a while now. I haven't seen much progress ( like 1/4" lost). Anyone have any great exercises for toning my triceps? Anyone know the secret to toning triceps fast? I would like to lose 1.5 inches. Help! Thanks for your imput!

I find you dont really see much change in the tricep area until you slim down a lot, I have been working mine out for a while now but its such a small muscle you dont see it as easily as you can see biceps or bigger muscle, The slimmer you are all over the more definition you will be able to see all over :) I did Chalean Extreme, its a great program for losing weight and toning all over :)

Wall pushups - Stand away from a wall, place you hands flat on the wall, feet shoulder width apart. Using arms to lean you forward, go till you touch your nose to the wall. Do this 20 times each for 3 sets. There are two different places you can target. If you lean forward and your elbows go out away from the wall is one and the other is if as you lean to the wall, your elbows go flat against the wall. You make it harder or easier the closer or farther away from the wall you stand.

Reverse bench pushups - Sit on a bench. Then stretch your feet out in front of you. Place your hands on the bench on each side of you and ease your bottom off the bench. Lower yourself up and down using only your arms. Really works the back of your arms.

    Good luck!!!

Pushups were the best thing to help me. I noticed results in my triceps without even realizing I was working them. I tried this challenge.

    Hope this might help.

I have pretty stout triceps, but they're still covered up by a layer of body fat. You can do some exercises to target the triceps (such as those given above), but to be totally honest, to get rid of that underarm 'flab,' it's going to take an overall drop in body fat.
