VW Owners: What would you buy, Passast or Jetta?

We went looking at cars today and are torn between two models, well, maybe three, but mainly two.

We looked at the Jetta, Passat and Tiguan, but having hard down narrowing down our decision are reviews are mixed, as they always are depending on source. Was just looking for some VW owners of these makes to get some feedback.

    I drive a Golf TDI. Best car I ever owned. I know you weren't asking about that model, but just wanted to support your choice to go with a VW!

    VeeDub always has problems, no matter which one you buy, but they sure are a fun ride, I had a jetta years ago & loved it, but it feels more like a single girl's car IMO. Passat's a nice ride. I prefer manny transmission, so it's a deal breaker if one isn't available. Never test drove a Tiguan; I don't like big chunky cars for city driving.
