I have a knee injury so treadmill is out - what to do?!

Hi. I started at 358 lbs and am down 59 lbs since Apr/May. 5wks ago I started having knee pain. Doc said iulled hamstring, but its worse and now I'm on crutches, pending MRI results. Suggestions re exercising?

  • Swimming is excellent and takes the pressure off the knee, also if you go to the gym, they have elipticals that have a seat in them to take the pressure off the knees so it isolates your upper thigh and butt to making them move, a hellava workout but doesn't hurt the knees. You might also check into Pilates, it works your body without the pressure on the knees, you would work around that.
