Trying to revamp my life by allowing myself to feel more confident in my own skin. It's challenging since I hate myself so much but hopefully losing some weight will help me gain that self-confidence I've been missing in my life.

    Hi, and welcome!

    It seems like for at least some people who come here, this is a two-way thing: Self-valuing can make self-improvement efforts go more smoothly, and success at pursuing goals can increase self-confidence. The tricky bit may be figuring out where to hop onto that beneficial cycle.

    Can you think of ways to appreciate and value your good qualities, alongside working toward your weight management goals?
