So I've always wondered this: When is it best to workout? Seems random I know lol. But I figured it was at night, just so you can burn off all of the days meals. Maybe that's just my logic tho lol.
So when is best to workout? As far as cardio an weight lifting.
Also!, is it bad to do weight lifting without reps and sets? Like to just keep going till you cant do more?
Thanks.

The best time of day is one that works for you! For me, that means getting up before the rest of the family and getting started by 5am. I have other pals here who get theirs at night, after their kids are in bed. Doesn't matter, just make the time that's the best for you to stick to.
Don't know about the weights/reps/sets question, but I'm sure someone will be along with the answer.0 -
Agreed, pick a time that works for you, and it doesn't need to be the same each day. The main thing is that you do it! If you plan to work out at night, don't let yourself talk you out of a workout because you're too tired or because a good show is on tv. If you want to workout in the early morning, don't let yourself hit the snooze when the alarm goes off. I'm a night owl, so late evening workouts are best for me (sometimes as late as midnight).0

ok thanks for the replies. What about working out through out the day? Like have certain workouts for morning, midday an before bed? Ever try that?0

the bodybuilding forums are riddled with theories for everything from fat burning to toning to muscle building. Personally I tend to work out at night, just because it's convenient. It's working so far.0

What ever works for you, I always work out AM mainly due to work and also the gym is empty early morning so its all mine.
If you are going to lift you have to keep a count of the numbers of sets and reps. The whole idea of lifting is to progressasivly increase the load on your muscle, you can do this by increasing the weight or increasing the reps.0
