Hey guys. So the rice that I use..on the label it says 45 g of dry rice is 150 calories. So when I cook the 45g it comes to 150g In weight . So basically when I'm eating all that 150g of cooked rice , it is basically 150 calories right ?

Yup, that's correct. The original amount of calories is still valid, it's just 'spread' over a higher volume since the rice has absorbed water.3

I remember my first time cooking rice on my own, my mother told me via telephone to have 1 cup rice per person for my stir fry. So I dutifully prepared 3 cups of uncooked rice, only to belatedly realize she meant 1 cup cooked. Had leftover rice for days after, lol.2
