I have a question about membership fees

I have a question about membership fees I have looked at my fitness pal on the computer and it seems in order to join it would cost around $40 for a year membership but if I download the program on my iPhone a one years membership will cost $80 what am I missing? Can’t I just download it off my computer or can’t I join on my computer but go over to my iPhone and sign in to my account and save $40 question am I missing something?

MyFitnessPal is free. The fee is for the premium version, which has premium features that many (dare I say, most) don’t need. Just start with the free version and get used to it first, and then upgrade to premium if you find yourself wanting those features.
