Calorie Count for Frannies Chicken Salad from Maynards Restaurant in Excelsior Minnesota

Frannies Chicken Salad is listed as having 989 calories on this website. Does that include the honey mustard dressing that comes with the salad?

    The database is crowd-sourced. If the regular MFP user who entered it into the database included the dressing, the calories include the dressing; if they didn't, it doesn't. Unfortunately, the rest of us have no way to know. Have you checked their website to see if calories are listed there? If not, there's a good chance whoever created that database entry kind of just made it up.

    Is this something you eat regularly, or is it a rare or one-time thing? If the latter, probably it's fine to use the entry that's in the database, and go on with life (things average out over time, and sometimes we have to guess). If you eat it often, it might be worth more searching or estimating based on subcomponents, or something like that.
