whey protein

Does this come as a powder? Does it have any taste. A few sites have suggested adding whey protein to smoothies, just wondering if it will alter the taste.
This whey protein is this the protein powder you see in the supermarkets near the vitamins ?

I have tried and researched a lot of different protein powders in the past 4 yrs. Which you choose somewhat depends on what kind of excercise you do. I do a lot of strength training, so for that you want a protein that absorbs quickly. I use Dymatize ISO 100. BNRG Proto Whey is also good. If you don't really excercise, or do more cardio type excercise, then slower absorbtion is good. On days I'm not lifting I use Dymatize Elite. I really like the Dyamtize products, they don't have a lot of extra ingredients in them like most of the grocery store proteins, and low to no sugar. If I need to buy grocery store, I get Optimum Nutrition brand. I think they all taste very good.

Whey protein is a powder. You can get it unflavoured or with a ton of different flavours. Keep in mind you really only need it if you can't get enough protein through real food.
