Introducing myself

Hi I am new on here, but not new to living Gluten Free. I have been eating a celiac diet and Fodmap diet for crohn's disease for about 15 years. I am a chef by trade and a cookbook writer, never published any yet. My problem area is I lose my appetite from cooking all the time, then when it comes time for me to eat I am not appetized, then I easily eat junk food. Salty chips, chocolate, and icecream My Motto is "No Junk In The Trunk". I joined MyFitnessPal.com in hopes that I will be able to hold myself accountable to what I am eating. Today is 11 days and have lost 4 lbs. I am eating 1000 to 1200 cal a day, keeping Fridays for Fun Fridays (still keeping within max limits tho). I am trying to walk a bit as well. I have noticed that I sometimes have a hard time to eat the 1200 mark, and that I eat a lot of protein instead of carbs. Hoping for support from this group.
