Hey, been out for a while. Torn meniscus in September. Physical Therapy and gym 3-5 times a week, did really well, been on ozempic, got down to 185. I moved my goals to 1880 calories a day.
about 4 months ago, started looking for a house/packing/selling our house/buying a house/moving/unpacking. Everything we own is on our new property now, not completely unpacked. Everywhere I look is more work. 25 year old house, getting solar and a new roof soon.
Been gradually gaining, right now 195, trying to "get back on the wagon".
For me, it always starts with counting calories and macronutrients, and hanging out with my MFP peers.

Regarding parking. My wife and I like to park "in Egypt" - the parking space farthest from the door. Just to get more steps in.
I'm trying to get back into going to the gym and walking 6000 steps a day. I've been on MFP since 2020, got up to 260, down to 230 several times, PB is 185, about 3 months ago, trying to step it up again.
Been on Ozempic for about a year and a half. Helps me eat less, but stress makes me eat more and not exercising makes me gain weight.
My stress level is dropping, and I'm logging again.
Hope everyone is doing well - I'd love to hear about it. 🤪
This is the view from our front porch!

Welcome back! Glad to hear you're settling into a new positive routine, and making progress toward your goals.
I'm an MFP oldie - age 69 now, on the app for over 10 years, loss then maintenance, plus staying active in the Community to keep my head in the game. I empathize on the torn meniscus: I have such a thing myself, plus some arthritis in knees and elsewhere, but am deferring surgery as long as possible. Reaching a healthy weight really helped me with that - greatly reduced pain severity and frequency.
Maybe consider joining the 60+ thread?
It's only lightly active, but it IS still active - most current posts are on the higher-numbered pages, but you can jump straight there with the number/arrow links near the top and bottom of each page of the thread.
That would give you some info about how at least a few other MFP-ers in our demographic are doing.
Best wishes for success!
