Hello, another Spark refuge -- I think I joined 7 different sites in order to check them out - this one seems to have most of the things I wanted - the community is the important thing for me. Also from 🇨🇦 :)

I'm from SP, too. I actually wanted to try MFP ages ago, but I had all my regular foods and groups saved with SP and I didn't want to start over. I've been on SP since 2008 and it's the only thing that's worked for me! I can do the same thing here, though, and I actually know more people here. I actually like the food tracker here better!

My SP name was MondayLins. Any Spring 5% Challenge Shooting Stars team members on here?

I had been on SparkPeople many years ago (ediets prior to that), if anyone happens to be from those groups. I've found the groups under the Motivation tab to be very similar with the motivations etc that I liked from those sites.

I've liked the tracker here better the last few years

I'm another sparker who was active in a few teams and 5% challenges, the last few as a leader. I've been focusing on maintenance but never did quite reach that "magic" goal weight so I'm going to give it a shot and see if I can drop another 9 pounds. I'll continue being active on SP - there's one last "hurrah" 5% challenge to go and I'm a co-CL for my team for the first (and of course last) time. I really wanted to find another site that gives me some of the strong community that I got with SP so I'm checking out a couple of apps and trying to get used to them before SP totally shuts down. My SP ID was RETIREDSUE

Glad to see this happening. I've been on Spark for so many years, way more than I'd like to say and it was always the most positive part of my day. I was FullMetalBlunt for years and recently WinterSoldier83. I'll miss having so much of my food saved and all my data from years of tracking, but this place is starting to look promising.

Hello! I'm also coming over from SparkPeople. I'm currently going to finish up my time there as a Rowdy Rebel in the Summer 5% challenge. So sad that it's closing down....

I am also from Spark People. I have been a member there since 2009. I actually like the food tracker better on here because I know how many calories I can have to lose a pound a week! Spark People was telling me I could eat way too many calories. I have found 2 groups on here from Spark People already and I am hoping maybe the 5% challenges will come here too but if not that is okay. This site is confusing for me and I am pretty computer savvy.

Old Sparky here too. I'm still keeping my thumb on pulse over there to see if it comes back to life, but this one seems to work pretty well for now, aside from some gripes about the nutrition tracker which increasing my knowledge may fix? Hello everybody! :)

I was on mfp for awhile, but I also used Sparks. I found it a lot easier to track on Sparks and I really liked their community feed. I also checked out their newest site and was not impressed. Feel free to send me a message to join me. I am Round3Again on here. Please let me know you are from Sparks. I was DeeDeeGram on Sparks.

Add me to this growing group. I'm looking for a site where I can track and interact with Sparkers. Spark360 is not too bad. It will be much better when some of the trackers are added in the fall.

Hello everyone. I was Margaret Yakoda on SparkPeople. Same here.

I lost so much weight with SparkPeople. Just 65lbs to go…. The announcement that they were shutting down threw me for a couple days. But I’m getting the hang of this site.

I deleted my SP account today, after using MFP for a few days. Times change. Onward, Buttercup!
