Goal Totals Question

I am perplexed. I have not consumed all of the carbs, fat and protein grams set in goals but my calorie count is over by 200 calories. How can this be possible?

MFP doesn't calculate total calories based on the macros, it just adds up the calories of the individual foods.
So:
- you've chosen some incorrect database entries
And/or
- you've consumed alcohol (it contains calories, but alcohol isn't one of the three macros)
Smaller deviations are also possible due to:
- differing ways of counting carbs: in the US fiber is counted under carbs, but fiber has 0 or 2 calories per gram (insoluble or soluble), in the EU fiber doesn't count as carbs
- rounding issues3
