Trying again

I've been using this site/app on and off for many years, but am starting again... again :lol:

I'm now at my heaviest weight ever, and probably my most unfit, too. I'm tall but 80lbs over my ideal weight is way too much. I should weight 150lbs :disappointed: I don't even think I could lift an 80lb weight! I feel exhausted all the time and got some bloods back with a borderline liver function result and I'm deficient in folic acid. I have a bad diet as it's just too much effort to cook something healthy... I've been making an effort this past week and lost 5lbs so far (probably water weight).

Anyway, nice to meet you all. This seems like a nice, supportive community :smiley:

    Me too! Been trying for years but with no avail. I pray this time will be different. Started with intermittent fasting and semi keto. Didn’t work for me. Didn’t lose a pound in 12 days. Now trying to eat 6 small meals a day, low carb and exercising. We’ll see how it goes. This time is definitely different. By day 5-10 I would quit. Back then I could up to 15 lbs in 10 days. Now I lost 0 in 12 days. But tho I lost not even an ounce! I haven’t gone back to eating unhealthy. Have reduced my portions and have kept it at low carb. It is now day 14 started June 1st. I don’t feel defeated. I don’t feel dissatisfied. I’m just vibing with my new lifestyle. Shocking really. Today I pray I lose at least 1 lb.
