I’ve struggled with weight since I was in my teens. After overcoming an eating disorder, and discovering a love of food, I had a few years where I felt like I had conquered this whole area. Unfortunately, as life became difficult with losses and other challengers, I found myself using food to comfort. Determined not to allow my weight to balloon again, I joined a gym, working out 4-5 times a week. Even though I had lost weight I still did not have a healthy attitude to exercise and food. Now, after having children I am back in the position where I over at, under exercise and generally don’t look after myself. I’m ready for change, which is why I have joined this community. I’m looking for health, not a weight loss figure or a number of hours I can exercise every week. I look forward to reading other stories and connecting with people who can share their stories and wisdom. 😀
