Unsure how to log a beach trip.

Howdy all!
Went with the wife and kids to the beach for a couple hours today, we swam, we horsed around, you know the normal beach stuff.
Problem is I don't know how I should log that "exercise" since I know I burnt a decent amount of calories.
Thanks for any help!
AJ.

I don't log those kind activities. I just enjoy them and consider them a plus to increase my NEAT, and not a justification to eat more. Honestly, you probably didn't burn as many calories as you think.
Glad that you and your family had fun.6 -
I'm very sedentary, usually, outside of intentional (logged) exercise. Occasionally, if I spend *many hours* on my feet meandering around and maybe doing a bit more than walking (lifting, carrying, whatever), like at a festival or outdoor volunteer gig, I'll estimate the total number of hours on my feet, and log half that long as slow walking. It's a spitball. If it isn't lots of hours, I'd just take it as a calorie bonus, not bother to log . . . even now, in maintenance.5
