Looking for Accountability

Y’all I’m hoping to find new contacts to make on here for accountability….not relationship or dick pics 🤢 basically, if you wouldn’t talk to me at the gym with my husband next to me, no need to message me with filth here.

I’ve been here two and a half years and have yet to receive one of those.

I have had one or two male users PM me, with no point to their messages, other than trying to chat. I either ignore, or delete them as friends. You’ve got complete control of your friends list at all times.

A couple of my male friends post status photos that seem to be for their legions of young female friends, but I got a few female friends who do the same for their heavily male friends list. (There’s probably those who might accuse me of same, since I occasionally post photos.)

I’m older, and my very Victorian comfort level appears to be way lower than the general population. I grit my teeth and ignore, because I will actually get the occasional nugget of inspiration or wisdom from the oddest places. I also understand that they’re proud of their gains and want to show them off, and so try to respect that.

If you’re not comfortable with male friends, simply reject their friend request.

Also, be aware: There was a hack here several years ago, and a number of passwords stolen. You are far more likely to get a soft porn female T&A profile pic requesting friends status than some dude trolling for a presumable sugar mama.

All in all, it’s a pretty safe site. Everyone’s too engrossed in leaving their booty behind than sharing it inappropriately.

And btw, as Victorian as I am, I am far more comfortable here sharing photos of body parts than I would be on, say, Facebook. Many of the users here will share before and after, etc photos or share an arm, leg waist area they’re puzzling over, or that they’ve lost weight from- or proudly muscled up.

On one of my own threads I posted photos of how extra skin looks after substantial weight loss.

I’m planning to update that soon because it’s useful to others to know what to expect in that department, as well as how it changes with time.

Some of the “skin” photos you’ll run across are actually very helpful. Moderators remove or edit any they feel are inappropriate or shows too much. You can easily report such posts by clicking on the three dots at the top right of that particular post , and giving a reason for reporting.

Hi! I'm a mama of 3 and would love to connect with some other moms and wives. Feel free to friend me. I'm just getting started here after using SparkPeople off and on for years.
