Is it possible for an apple shaped woman to get a flat belly?

Hello all! Just curious about this! I feel that I am a cross between an apple and an hourglass. I believe that if I lower my body fat and build my glutes I can easily become an hourglass. The problem is getting rid of belly fat has been real difficult for me and makes me look more apple-ish. Not that anything is wrong with that, I just prefer to look more proportionate. Last year I had lost about 15 lbs and my waist noticeably gotten smaller but I still had a belly pooch. However during my process of losing this weight, I was doing intense HIIT, not really weight training, on a calories restrictive diet and wasn't eating sufficient protein. So I lost the weight but was still "skinny fat". I went through the process of attempting to bulk for more curves and although it did work I gained weight around my waist too. This time around I want to do things the right way getting rid of the fat. I've been strength training upper and lower body and have been especially lifting heavy for my lower body. I've been eating at a deficit and eating 100-120g of protein daily and doing 20-30mins of moderate cardio. I also try my best to go for a walk on days I'm not working out. Its been almost a month and I haven't really seen any differences which leads me to believe can Apple shaped women truly get a flat stomach or get rid of as much belly fat as they possibly can. I'm petite only 5'2 and about 130lbs. I've read some articles and it says that Apple shaped women can never really achieve the flat belly but I don't want to believe this because it would make me feel really defeated. I know it's only been about a month but shouldn't I see some results by now. How long could I expect to see some differences?
P.s: belly fat is normal I know that and I know no one truly has a flat stomach, but I personally just want to get rid of the extra fat around that area that I've always had.

The first place that you gain weight is the last place that you will lose it. You can lose fat but if your natural shape is a thick middle, then it will still be that way with less fat. I suggest training your obliques, doing vaccuums and training upper body too, to develop more of a v shape taper. This will help your waist look smaller.
I am an apple too. My bust and waist are the same measurement but have a lot of loose skin in my mid section because I have lost over 80 lbs and still have more to lose to get to my healthy weight. I have lost 11 inches off my waist, 8 inches off my bust and 11 inches off my hips. It is possible to lose inches off your middle.5 -
In my experience no. Even as a college athlete and weighing 125 lbs at 5'5" - with good muscle - I still had a belly. I am however a true apple, and there's not a thing that's going to change that.2

@Beautyofdreams thank you for the advice🙏🏿! I've for the most part accepted that my belly fat is never gonna go away and that It's probably unlikely that I'll get a flat stomach. Instead I want to train heavy on my glutes and legs to build curves in that area. I'm damn near an hourglass I just need my glutes to be a little bigger.0
