I'm going back to work, finally! So... it's okay that I pull out these pants from the 90s?:)

    Approved.

I personally trend towards the β€œJust Shipwrecked β€œ look.

Long live wide legged pants. Long live pinstripes. Together? All the yes πŸ‘ŒπŸΏ

The only thing I would change about that outfit is the fit of the jacket. I love the wide leg, pinstripes and the navy blue color.

The only thing I remember hating about the wide leg pants was when it rained, the bottom of your pants were always wet.

I am SOOOO OVER the skinny leg, lo-rise jeans. Trying to find a nice bootcut, or wideleg that doesn't cost a fortune right now. With a proper waist height (cuts 15lbs off your appearance.)

This is more of a flare than a bootcut. But you're right, it takes patience! Guess had some good, reasonably priced options last year. Similar to this...

Mind you, even though we're both Canadian, my preference in pants are longer inseams and sky high waists so YMMV πŸ˜‰

I buy all my somewhat high waisted bootcut jeans from Talbots. For some reason they fit like they were tailored just for me. <3 My only complaint is that Talbots tends to be rather conservative, in general, and I usually go all out Tommy Chong style when I'm not working, haha...this pretty much every day:)

This is a problem with all pants when your inseam is a measly 26".
