How do I add friends?

I have not added friends in a while and cannot recall how to do so.

    If using the app, click the user name then click it again in the next screen. You’ll see a silhouette with a “plus” sign over it. Click that and follow the instructions.

    Don’t bother entering a message. Due to a glitch or change, they can’t read a message til you are actually a friend, and once they accept your request that one vanishes anyway, so they’ll never see it.

    Mine just shows a silhouette of what looks like 2 people. When I click that, it asks me to invite friends. It does show a message too but I leave that blank. Is that the spot?

    Click on the user name or profile pic of the person you want to add as a friend:

    Click on it on the second screen as well

    Click the silhouette and follow instructions. Don’t bother to type a message. No one will ever see it. It goes into the great ether of misbegotten programming.

    Wait for invitee to accept (you won’t be notified if they decline.). Some people (me) make take days to add because I will typically search the user ID to make sure they’re not a troll or PITA or purveyor of porn (easily identifiable as extremely youthful Eastern European looking girl with a semi nude or crotch or butt crack profile pic, strangely, often taken in a bus shelter.)

    That’s totally different from what I see. Are you using the web version or an app? If an app, android or iOS?

    I have the app on android. I even have the latest version too. I will friend you and see if you get it.
