Hashimotos and weight loss

Really struggling with weight loss due to hashimotos. I have tried intermittent fasting and eating at a calorie deficit. I work out 3-4 times per week. I just can't get the scales to move. Any ideas or suggestions please?

Are you being treated? The first step is to get your thyroid numbers within range.

Then, weight loss will be no different for you than other people.

Hey, if you're maintaining, that's a great start!

If you really want to lose weight, you have to maintain a calorie deficit over an extended time. It's a slow business --but, then again, so is weight gain. It's all about portion control. I always say that if you can adopt a habit for a month, you can adopt it forever, so have at it again.

As for old Dr. Hashimoto: I have it too. A little L-Thyroxin and your good to go.

I am taking thyroxine but I am in the process of dose adjustment.
