Unique issues and concerns with my diet

Hi everyone, I've been out of the hospital for seven days now after finding out my heart is in A Fib. I have been given some diet guidelines by my heart specialist to help get rid of a blood clot in my heart. I am to reduce my sodium intate as much as I can and I can only have two liters of fluids a day. This program will help me track my calories, Carbs, Sodium, and fat. If I am successful over the next thirty days the doctors can shock my heart into a regular rhythm. Wish me luck!!!

Good luck, low-sodium is an adjustment but it's doable. Heart stuff is super scary!

Good and best of luck to you. I hope that you are also on blood thinners (Eliquis, Xarelto or Cuomadin/Warfarin, etc...), because being in Afib, and unless you had an atrial ablation, your chances of recurring blood clots are high.

Follow doctors directions and take care of your diet and you will be OK.
