my trick for getting up early to exercise

Just wanted to offer my tip- it sure helps me! I go to bed "slightly" hungry and then when I wake up early to workout before work/taking kids to school I have a yummy preworkout snack that I look forward to. Usually a big scoop of honey almond PB and ice water. If it weren't for this, I would not be able to do it!

I usually drink 750 ml of water before I go to bed. That way I wake up to a full bladder and just dump and go.

I think your way might be a bit less painful/wet.

I found something that I really enjoyed doing and that made it super easy (swimming!)

    I read http://www.runnersworld.com/fun/get-up-and-run-or-stay-in-bed

It reminds me how I will feel later on if I decide not to get up and go.

That would be nice, but I've had children. My bladder WILL NOT let me sleep through the night, regardless of how much I've drank. You lucky men!

I go to bed in my workout clothes.

I shower at the gym before work so I also make sure to have my bag ready with my work clothes/ shower stuff and cooler of food ready to grab and leave.
