    When I opened this thread, I'd hoped it would be people presenting interesting yet little known sports trivia factoids, such as what two days out of the 365 day calendar are there NO professional sports games between the big four US leagues (MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL)...




    Answer: the day before and the day after the MLB All-Star game. The other three leagues are all in off-season at the time, and during that three day span the only MLB game is the All-Star game.
