I never been but am fascinated by the history of it. I enjoy looking at places via google maps. Would enjoy chatting about it and getting to know about it more.

Not really “from” Mexico but I did live there for 8 years when I was younger, from the ages of 12-20. In a desert town (technically a city though) not many people have heard of with mountains and cactus and not much else there. It was an interesting experience but I always knew I didn’t want to stay living in Mexico long term and could hardly wait to return to the US as soon as I could. I did my junior high and high school equivalent there which was ok I guess, it was kind of difficult because I didn’t speak Spanish at all and had to learn through necessity, but I eventually did learn it and even though I’m not the best when it comes to the spoken language I can read and write it better than most native Spanish speakers I know for some odd reason. I still enjoy a lot of media and entertainment in Spanish, some of my favorite music is in Spanish and I love watching Spanish movies. I left in 1995 and I’m sure a lot has changed since then in the town where I lived but I got some stories about my time living in Mexico though, it’s really a different experience living totally immersed in a third world lifestyle, at least in the part of Mexico I lived in :) What exactly fascinates you about Mexico?

For me, it seems really old and I think the historical part intrigues me. I see a lot of old buildings in the cities in addition to old temples. The lifestyle there also interest me. I'd really enjoy getting to spend some time there to see the day to day life.
