Fit Track Dara

Hi i just bought a fit track Dara, it says my BMR is 1479.How do i use that number to figure out how many calories i need to consume to lose weight and be in a sustainable Deficit? I'm sedentary job but get 10,000-12,000 by commuting on foot. Any advice would be appreciated

    Eating below your TDEE is more important than using your BMR for calorie goals. Have you input your stats to mfp? What calorie goal does it give you?
