MFP with Fitbit Sync and tachycardia (fast HR)

I sync my fitbit charge 4 with MFP. I seem to be getting an absurd amount of exercise calories.

I *think* fitbit believes I'm burning more calories or exercising at a higher intensity than I really am because I have a faster HR than average.

I'm 5'5 at 181, with a goal of 140. I'm set to lightly active, and .5 lb per week loss. MFP gives me 1823 per day. Fitbit is giving around 600 extra calories per day and up to a thousand on the day of my dance class. I average around 7500 steps per day.

I'm looking for suggestions on settings etc I can change to get more accurate calorie numbers in MFP.

I'd like to tweak things so I can just eat the calories it tells me to eat with having to use math and eat 50% back only etc.

Thanks!

You might need to set custom HR zones, which is possible on the app and website somewhere. Last time I looked though this was broken and it auto-switched itself off again within a few days.
The alternative is that this just doesn't work for you and you should disconnect the device.

I cleaned the house this morning. Then for the afternoon played with the kids in the pool and then bbq'd.

I am at 11000 steps for the day but it's given me almost 1500 extra calories.

I sorta feel that's absurd. I don't see how I could have burnt that much in house work and pool time.

Fitbit also picked up on both moderate and intense zone minutes. Which ok ... lugging a vacuum up and down the stairs is a bit of a workout. But still.
