Trust the process. If you are eating fewer calories than your body burns in a given span of time, you will lose fat. It is physically impossible for your body to do otherwise. If you have a menstrual cycle, hormonal fluctuations can make you retain water which makes it hard to see fat loss on the scale day-to-day or even week-to-week, but human bodies also retain water for all sorts of reasons that one doesn't need ovaries to experience (new or more intense workout regimen = water retained to repair muscles; ate more salt than usual = retain water; humid outside today = retain water...)
Slow and steady wins the day. (Not "race," because it's not a race.) Four stone is about 25kg, or 56 lbs - that's a moderate amount of weight to lose, so you should be aiming to lose at a rate of about half a kg (or one pound) per week, if you want this to stick. That's a daily deficit of about 500 calories' worth of food less than what your body burns as you go about your business. If you try to do it faster, you run the risk of - at best - burning out and regaining, and at worst actually harming your body, possibly permanently.0
