Hi everyone,
Honestly I could use some Encouragement during this time and I'm really terrible at asking for help for myself. I'm 45, just started (again) this week on a fitness/weight-loss journey. I'm signed up on here and also joined i2 Fitness (virtual) for Nutrition and Exercise tips and support. One thing about me: I can't stop getting sick after exertion. So anything exercise, moving hard, chores, lawn work, etc., I get sick and I always have my cooling towel and ice water with me. I have some health issues, but that's another story. I could just really use some "friends that can relate or understand" right now. Thanks everyone! 😊

Welcome! Have you ever checked with a doctor to find out why exertion is making you sick? It would be best to get medical approval before starting a new exercise program if you have some issues. That said, lots of folks here start out with very gentle exercise until they build up their stamina.

@Zinka61 Hello. Yes, my doctor is trying to figure out "why" and I've already been to some Specialists. I just posted because, well I don't want to feel alone...2

You are not alone, the community has a great depth of knowledge, and support. It is important that your Dr. clear you to act. Maybe start by logging your food, to get an idea of CICO. Then, work with that to set up an eating plan you can live with, save the exertion & and exercise issues for when you've lost some weight. It's much easier to focus on one thing at a time, until your medical team clears you.0
