I am curious on how to help inches come off when losing weight?

I'm not sure what you mean? When you lose fat, you will lose inches (eventually). But you can't control where/in what order it comes off, so it might be in areas you're not measuring.
So just stay in a calorie deficit and be patient.
Another option is aiming for weight maintenance and doing strength training to increase muscle mass and decrease bodyfat (=recomposition). That will also results in losing inches.5
