Plateau

Hi everyone, I've been steadily losing since mid February and have reached a 2 stone loss. I still have around 2 stone left to go. My weight was a steady 2lb a week loss but has recently slowed to half a pound or a maintain. I work out 4 x a week and I track cautiously. I think the app has taken me to the lowest calorie intake of 1200 a day. Can anyone help me get my momentum back? Any advice greatly received

    I'm not sure it's advice because those types of plateaus seem to strike relentlessly during weight loss. If you are exercising and eating healthy you are getting healthier even if the pounds slow for a while. I think it will start to come back off.

    Couple things worth checking is whether there are sugars and salts that could be causing higher calories or water retention.

    I wouldn't recommend going under 1200 calories to try to get it going. That seems dangerous as 1200 sounds low enough to me. I've heard eating more can impact metabolism, eating less can make your body try to conserve, but to me that has always seemed risky too.
