Am i allowed to post a survey link to my dissertation research on this forum

I am interested in fitness challenges such as the couch to 5k, chloe Ting shred challenge, or youtube fitness videos that people may have participated in during the lockdowns in the UK. I am trying to get more participants. However, i am not sure if i am allowed to post the link here as it maybe seen as advertisement and i will be banned from the forum. Does anyone know what I should do?

I am but a mere mortal so have no definitive answer for you.

However, if your survey link is to an academically approved questionnaire with the oft-seen blurb that takes ethics and confidentially into account, then...maybe? 🤷🏿‍♀️

As far as I know--you can't. Over the years others have tried and it's not been allowed. Think about it. If allowed we'd have 100's or researchers in here studying us for one reason or another. It's like advertising, just open the door and you'd be over run. MFP is sitting on a great deal of raw data and that has value.

Well, here is a link to the guidelines. I think it would be disqualified under #7.

I have seen other posts like this deleted.

You can also send a message to Alex asking if it's okay, she's in charge of the community. I think she might be off duty on the weekends, but there are volunteer moderators who will flag it if it's something that's not allowed.
