Looking at yourself in the mirror

Lately, I have been scared when I see myself in the mirror. I cannot reconciled with the image I see. I still think of myself as very fit person, but that's not who I look like today.

What are some of the positive affirmations thoughts you tell yourself when you face mirror?

    I try to focus on the things I really like about my body. We all have parts of our body we are insecure about, but equally there are things about our bodies we really like but we rarely acknowledge. I also remind myself that no body stays perfect forever, we will all age, slim gets wrinkly and saggy, hair turns grey and/or falls out, so I try to keep my body image in perspective. If I obsess over how I look and let it stop me from participating in the things I love about life, then I’m going to be a pretty unhappy and miserable person.

    I think it’s totally fine to want to loom good and feel confident about your body, but don’t let it define who you are.
