Resistance bands

Hi everyone!! I’ve been on here for about a month now, seem to be doing ok 🤞🏻
Anyway I was just wondering if anyone works out with resistance bands. I have bought some and love it but it would be great to share different workouts etc with people doing the same. I don’t really want to build to much muscle but definitely tone the bingo wings 😱

I use them for some lower body stuff in addition to my lifting. Lunges, side steps, leg lifts, bridges, clams, pull downs. Stuff like that. You can’t target a specific area for fat loss, you need a calorie deficit and will eventually need to build muscle. Unless you’re eating a calorie surplus and really lifting heavy, you’re not going to gain copious amounts of muscle.

Good job on using your bands I have a set that came with a little paper insert that shows me what workout to do, you can also google workouts to do, I like the good suggestions that JenMc14 gave for using them, keep up the good work.

I use them and believe the benefit I've gotten has been more about stretching and increasing range of motion than any muscle building or toning.

i have some that i had my husband secure from one of the lower rafters in the barn for me. the goats look at me like im crazy but they pretty much always have that look so... whatever.

i use the gym for most strength training/weight work but the bands are nice for one off things (obviously for me, arms, since i have them on rafters lol)

I've long had DBs, a ball and a rower and used them moderately with bodyweight and running, but wanted to bear down a bit over the pandemic winter. After Youtubng I got a full set of four generic (Power Guidance) red, black, purple, green bands and quickly added a door anchor and work gloves. James Grage is the main muscle guru and also did a good full body HIIT for Bodybuilding.com available on Ytube, but I think the best all around intro I've seen is the YMCA's

Too late to edit, this longer workout in the YMCA Advanced playlist is also good:
