Net carbs

Good evening all I'm new to.site and I'm trying to loose weight and also watch my carbs since I'm diabetic as well I see this app.uses net carbs instead of actually carbs is there a formula or a setting fore to switch to carbs instead as I'm supposed to eat note than 60 carbs per meal in order to maintain good diabetic readings.

    The site actually does not use 'net carbs', except:
    - food database entries that people have added that are specifically net carb (sometimes mentioned in the name of the food)
    - food database entries of some countries where it's standard to not include fiber etc in the carb count (EU for example)
    - the premium version of MFP has a net carb option (but only in certain countries)
