Argh. During any healthier eating attempts, most of us have challenging days. But the past 3 days have been extra challenging for me, feeling that old(but never gone far away) feeling of *having* to stuff my face continuously. As I was thinking of wth I was doing and the whys behind it, I remembered the date and it all made sense.
So, today, back to my regularly scheduled program. July 4th has come and gone like it does every year and today's a new day.

Nice shift in actions. I would encourage you to ask yourself what made those days more challenging? What systems and strategies can you have in place for the next challenging situations that come up? And were you trying to avoid something (ie unwanted feelings) by "having to stuff your face"? Were you really just stuffing down feelings, what were they, and how can you express them in a positive way, instead of avoiding them? Best wishes.1
