Tummy

I’m just starting my weight loss journey, I’m 20 stone and have a lot of weight around my tummy. Can anyone help or advise with the type of exercises to do to get rid of tummy fat?
Thank you

You can't target abdominal fat, you just have to lose weight on the whole and (sooner or later, depending on how your body works) the abdominal fat will lessen.
You can do planks and stomach vacuums to tighten up and strengthen your core muscles, which might help appearence-wise (better posture for example), but these exercises won't get rid of the fat.

yeah, unfortunately it's just an all over weightloss thing that is required. I had a lot of fun for a long period where my arms and legs got thinner and nothing on my torso did.

I STILL carry most of my weight around my middle but at least it's less... glaringly unbalanced now.

Also, honestly, even in the ancient history of my youth when I was sub 120lbs. I had a stomach. Two kids and more than twenty years later, I'm just not going to have a flat stomach and that's fine. Better core muscles and shapewear cover a lot

Sadly you can't tackle tummy alone.
However I started in Jan doing pilates every day focusing on abs, bum and legs. I've lost 38lbs and despite still being a size 14 my tummy is delightfully flat now if not ripped!
