Neutral grip dumbbell bench press

So I have shoulder mobility issues and this exercise is one of the rare pressing movement I can do with no discomfort in my shoulder. I'm wondering if it's easier to use more weight on this exercise compared to the traditional db press? It seems as though it's easier to go heavy.

And can you still develop good pectoral muscles with this variation or is it necessary to add other movements?

It can be a bit easier to lift more, since the weights are closer to your body. And yes, it works the pecs fine, but i'd arch to hit them better (unlike what he's doing). Arching is explained here: https://youtu.be/Y_7aHqXeCfQ?t=147

Nice video. Yeah I know about arching and also the leg drive. But it's a "skill" so to speak that i've lost because I haven't done pressing movements like this for years. I have to practice again.

My question is, what are you doing to FIX your shoulder issues? As a rehab specialist, I DON'T have any clients do any overhead or flat bench pressing movements UNTIL their shoulder is close to 100%.

For now i'm doing rotator cuff strengthening exercises with bands. I'm also training my lower trapezius muscle as my physiotherapist suggested. But I don't have a diagnosis really, it's just that my right shoulder has drastically less mobility than my left shoulder and it's due to an old tendonitis.

For now it's not causing me pain or anything but I feel discomfort when i'm doing the bench press with a barbell, or pressing movements in general.
