I am looking for a HRM that doesn't have a chest strap (I find them very uncomfortable) Does anyone have a suggestion?

In all honesty if you don't want to wear a chest strap there's not much point in buying a heart rate monitor. The ones you touch periodically are next to useless.
Having said that, have you tried Polar's Wearlink chest strap? Unlike the one piece moulded units it is a light elastic strap with a couple of very unobtrusive electrodes and a small transmitter that snaps on and off.(and they come in a variety of sizes for comfort)
You'll probably find you don't even notice it after a little while and won't end up sacrificing accuracy.0 -
Not worth bothering with if you don't want the chest strap. Polar chest straps are really soft and not much different than a bra band.0
