I did not realize I was this big until my husband posted this picture 😔 this is from last year. And I wore a sweater to hide my lonjas (rolls) 😂

Fantastic!! Curious which IF schedule(s) you have done? I'm a huuuge fan of IF, having great success so far (as is my husband, and my sister) Between us, I do 4:3, he's doing a daily 16:8, and my sister is doing OMAD.3

Also..I'm really disappointed to see members "disagreeing" with your success...very confused as I thought MFP's members normally cheer one another on, as well as cheer at success. How can you disagree with a success picture?? I can only assume it is because you followed an IF schedule? (everyone should decide what works for them best and, you were only sharing what you did, not telling others they should do it too. SMH.) IF is simply a specified time to eat, not what to eat or any crazy deficit. Same calories in/out..just consumed differently. Most of all...you have been successful using it! I wish I could post a like for every disagree..you deserve it!16 -

@MerryFit519 Thank you! It's ok! I'm so excited to share my progress! I'm a mother of 4, grandmother of 5. I am 48 years old, I look and feel better than I did when I was in my 20s!!! I honestly don't care who disagrees with me. As we get older it's harder to lose our belly fat! Yay me!!!

I love IF! I lost 50 pounds so far and maintained that for six months. And just rest got into tackling the last ten. I used a 20:4 schedule most of the time but mixed it up with 16:8, 18:6, 20:4, and a few 3-5 day fasts. My husband and mother have recently started.

I am type 2 diabetic ... low carb/keto works to reverse type 2 ... I am not on keto at the moment has I have been sick over 2 weeks but I will eventually get back to it ....Wishing you the very best0 -
@200Karen - there's a website called Diet Doctor www.dietdoctor.com, that promotes low-carb and keto. But they have a hella-lot-of information (and I think free video courses, if I remember correctly??) on fasting. I was a member several years ago, it's a paid membership. But they do have a free week's trial, which means you can go into the site and watch the videos, and read all the information on diabetes and fasting.

I have tried to lose 30+ pounds for 9+ years and now I'm in maintenance
Always counting calories and exercising so MFP is a great place to find friendships and information
My IF times are holding at 12 - 14 hours
Staying there until I talk with my doctor
My morning sugars seem to be OK
