Carb cycling

Hi,
I am using the carb cycling diet for 4 months so far. I just have a question.
When I started I was 72 kg so my protein was 72*2.5= 180 grams per day.
Now I got a great result and I did lost fat and gained more muscles but my weight now is 69 kg.
So the question is should I change my protein macro from 180g to 172g. I am wondering if that over protein turns into fat again.
Thanks

Over actual calorie needs turns into fat. It doesn't really matter what macro the calories come from. Whether your calorie needs are the same at 69kg vs. 72kg is a different question, with more variables.
(There's a generic answer, lower calorie need at lighter bodyweight, but it might not be the right answer, since you're saying body comp has changed, and not indicating other things that might matter.)1
