Pacing yourself on increasing calories.

Hey there.

I started my weight loss on a 1200 calorie intake with minimal exercise, but as I've become more athletic and have improved my endurance, my weekly calorie burn is now typically in excess of 6,000 calories. Considering this, I know I need to increase my intake, but I'm wondering if anyone has input on how I should pace this increase. I increased to 1400 two weeks ago and am just now starting to lose weight again, so should I go ahead and bump to 1600 now or wait another week or two to allow my body to get accustomed to the increased intake? I'd like to minimize weight gain during this transition period (yes, I am aware it is just water and glycogen, but still).

Thanks all.

I would bump it right up, because I would be starving. But that's me.

Yeah...I'm not starving, unfortunately. Just wondering if anyone with some experience with having to increase knows how fast/slow the process should be.
