I usually do thighs, skin on but breasts should be fine if you keep an eye on internal temperature so they don't dry out.

If you eat chicken skin, it gets incredibly thin and crisp in the air fryer. Salt a few hours in advance of cooking or overnight (dry brining to break down proteins to tenderize). If you want super crispy skin rub a tiny pinch of baking powder (not baking soda which will impart a terrible flavour) onto the skin. Air fry on high skin side up about 25 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 72C. If you like a sweet caramelized glaze brush teriyaki sauce or a half and half mix of mustard + honey and air fry another few minutes until sauce has caramelized.

my air fryer is more like an oven style one and not a basket style one (not sure if it makes a difference)

i cook chicken the same way i always have in an oven. or ways, i should say. especially recipes with a breading or coating on it. I basically use it like a little mini oven.

we really like a homemade shake and bake type mix and do that in there, then slice up the chicken and eat it over salad. similar to a fried chicken salad

my son (teenage) uses it for all his lunch stuff (hot pockets, small pizzas, etc)

Also, if you enjoy hard-boiled eggs, it is super easy to make those in your air fryer as well! I tend to just google ways to cook things in my air fryer. :)

I recommend brussels sprouts, they taste fantastic in an airfryer. Salt and pepper them, ~15-20 minutes or so for frozen ones. 375F.

    I have a pressure cooker/airfryer combo. I love it.
