Need a new scale?

OK so I hopped on the scale this morning. It said I dropped 2.4 pounds(I was 166.2 on June 20). I stepped on it two more times to make sure it was right and it said 166.8! Did one more time it said 165.8. So I wrote that weight down. 0.4 weight loss which I guess makes more sense and I'm happy with that. I just get how it says 163 then 166. That's a huge difference. Could there be a possibility that the scale is no good now? Anyone have good scale recommendations?

    Two things you can check:
    - is your scale on a stable, hard surface? If it isn't, that can give strange readings.
    - are the feet of your scale still intact? Sometimes the feet can break/crack and cause strange readings

Could also be a battery needing replaced

Yes it was on my hardwood floor and I made sure my feet where planted evenly distributing my weight 🤔

My scale recommendation is an old school balance beam scale. They are practically indestructible. We’ve had ours twenty years, and we got it second hand. It’s probably at least 40 years old.
