Do you have a secret stash of "junk food" in your house or office (car, etc.) What's in yours?

Mine is caramel and chocolate

I have a stash of junk food in my house, but it's no secret. I think it helps me having them there. I don't feel like I "can't" have them, so I'm not compelled to eat them. My husband has them to snack on, I can offer them to company or my nieces and nephews when they come, and every once in a while I allow myself a treat.

Dove dark chocolate promises - in my desk drawer under the picture of me when I used to be 3 sizes smaller.

Nope, but if I did it would have Twix and probably Snickers. And if I did, it wouldn't be there for long...that's why it's not there at all :D

You know I buy stuff and tell myself that I will portion it out but I can't seem to resist. So when I want a treat I tend to buy what I will have that day only. Hopefully I will get to the point where I can just have a little but until then I have to keep it out of the house.

Nope. If it happens it's not a secret for very long and it's gone.
Out of sight, out of mind works. If the OH has treats in the house and I don't know about it, that's a different story though

Nope, I used to have a huge bag of mini-Reese's cups at house and at home. They are so my fave. But now I stick to making healthy desserts. Then I bring some dessert to work for lunch. That way I'm not salivating all day about the dessert at home, I can get my sweets craving and not waste a gajillion calories on it.

I usually do (and it's always chocolate) but since I got back from holiday last week I haven't done any proper food shopping, so there's nothing left! AND I haven't craved any - maybe this is the way forwards!!

Nope. My issue is portion control so if I bought it, it was probably gone before I got home.

I dont have a secret stash, just the usual goodies like chips and rolos that my hubby likes and I am happy to say that I have not had even one bite of them in the past 5 weeks.
If I really need a chocolate fix I allow myself one baby spoon of Nutella. I love it it and thankfully it is so rich that one little spoonful will do....usually....

I have a stash of miniature sized Lara Bars, Luna Bars, and Goodness Knows snack squares...all 150 calories or less and have some nutritional value (and some chocolate flavors!). It keeps me sane.

I have a secrete stash....but kinda different from what you first think. I love love dark chocolate and allow myself to have some now and then. I buy the organic healthy kind. I HAVE to stash it - to hide it from my 19 yrs old son!!!!! He has inherit my love of chocolate (I inherited it from my Dad) I buy him chocolate too but he will eat all of it - no matter how much is there. So, yes I have a secrete stash of very good dark chocolate. I feel so guilty!!!

I wish they sold those here, I love those bars but they are too big of a portion for me and if I open one I would probably not eat just half.

We can get the Lara Bars and Luna Bars here (full size) can't we?? I've never heard of the Goodness Knows - what are they?

    Consider me BUSTED!

We are so similar in our stashes you and I Victorianjewel...I have chocolate and caramel too (but together). Mine are usually Milk Duds, Rolos or 100 grand bars. I'm better off having them than not. If I get a craving, I've learned it is better to just indulge a little because otherwise I end up eating umteen other things to try to fill that "void" and several hundred (or more) calories later I'm still wanting that dang Rolo.

Goodness Knows are nuts, grains, (and my favorite--cranberries) with a layer of chocolate on the bottom that is extra high in cocoa-flavanols. Denver and Boulder (I am in Colorado) are their test market so I guess they aren't in other areas yet (but when they arrive--they are very yummy!). We have the little sizes right at the grocery store and Super Target for the Lara and Luna bars, but I also seem to get them in every race goody bag I ever get as well. They are only 80, 90 and 110 calories depending on flavor...

I don't think they have those in Wisconsin. :grumble: I'm so jealous. I would be all over those. HaHaHa
