What are you hoping this supplement would do?

My former company pitched it as a natural source of IGF-1, a hormone which helps with muscle growth.

Which is weird because it's apparently full of estrogen/estrogen-like compounds...? I fully admit I don't know much about hormones but that seems off.

Which would make it better suited as a menopause relief aid, one would think.

Ate you wearing it? Like a velvet track suit? In which case I'd advise against it

Remember when bee pollen was all the rage?
    And ginseng? And grapefruit?
Back in my grandmother’s day it was Graham crackers….

    Raspberry ketones! Green coffee beans!

Deer antlers make great dog chews but they're wickedly expensive. That's all I know about deer antler.

see.... we live on a farm. while we dont allow hunting on our land, areas around us do. And im convinced no one in this county can actually shoot to kill immediately, so a lot of injured deer DIE on our land. so our dogs get plenty of antlers for free. and other deer bones. were i more industrious, id find the deer before the dogs and harvest, package and sell the suckers myself LOL

I mean, pursuant to local laws, it sounds like you have a "free venison" problem, which furthermore sounds like the opposite of a problem.

Are there any side effects of deer antler velvet? I have looked at a lot of articles and I can’t find anything conclusive.

It interacts with mummy dust, so be careful.
